Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for subscriptions to the Dictera application (the "App") sold through the website at https://dictera.app. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use.
1. Try before you buy
Dictera offers a free 14-day trial so you can fully evaluate the App before paying anything. No payment details are required to start the trial. We encourage you to use the trial to confirm the App works for you and on your Mac.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you subscribe to a paid plan (monthly or yearly) and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the charge - no questions asked. This applies to your initial purchase and to each renewal charge: a refund request made within 14 days of any individual charge is eligible.
Once refunded, your subscription is cancelled and access to paid features ends.
3. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email info@dictera.app from the address associated with your purchase, or contact our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, directly. Please include your order number or the email used at checkout so we can locate your purchase. We aim to process eligible requests promptly; refunds are returned to your original payment method.
4. Merchant of Record
Subscriptions are sold and processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, acting as the "Merchant of Record". Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy in accordance with this policy and Lemon Squeezy's own terms and refund handling.
5. Your statutory rights (EU/EEA)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights, which continue to apply in addition to the money-back guarantee described above.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above. Refund requests are assessed under the policy in effect at the time of the charge.
